THE RED BIRDS (dream)
It was nighttime. There were six bad female birds
walking down the middle of the street with a shopping cart. They were leaving,
and I was glad. They were bad birds. They got half way down the block and then
stopped, turned around, and started back to where I was. I was one of them, and
I knew they would want me back to get me in their clan, so
I tried to hide. I knew that there was no way to hide from these bad birds. They looked like gray pigeons walking upright like a human would do.
I tried to hide. I knew that there was no way to hide from these bad birds. They looked like gray pigeons walking upright like a human would do.
I started to run, and I tried to hide from them in a
very good place. It was a pit dug in someone’s backyard, but I knew that there
was no escaping these bad birds. I knew that, but I had to try! As I cower in
this large dirt hole in the dark of the night dug four-feet in the ground trying to remain motionless, one of the
birds tapped me on the shoulder. I tried to ignore her, but I knew that would
do no good, so I got out of the hole. I was one of them, after all.
Emerging from the pit, I noticed that the bad birds
began to turn all of the other birds bad–like themselves. A male bird was walking
toward us. He wasn’t a pigeon. He was some other kind of bird. It was now daytime, and as he approached
me, I couldn’t help but to notice that he had sesame seeds embedded into the skin of his arms. They were in his arms, and the bad birds had been pecking at them and
pecking on him. He was in a daze. Only some of the seeds remained. He was a mess!
The bad birds began spreading their wickedness to all
of the other birds in the city. Then all of the birds, (including myself)
turned red! Infected by the six original bad birds.
As all of the now red birds spread the contamination,
they began to destroy everything around them. They were destroying the earth,
destroying the food supply, and destroying every bird they came in contact
with.
All of the red birds took flight. From far above, they looked like a red nuclear cloud. Then they took on the form of red nuclear explosions. First one bomb, then another, and another. Each explosion fed of the prior one. They looked like a sun newly achieving fusion. A nuclear wave of red birds destroyed everything in its path–the earth, themselves. After the wave of red birds had consumed and destroyed everything in its path, it hit a great wall. The wall was death itself.

I went from observing the wave to being moved across
the wall to the other side. I floated up and over. When the red birds hit the wall, they made a huge wave like a freshly crashing wave in the ocean crashing against a great cliff wall.
There were four metal fabrications atop the wall. The two on the outside were very tall... about fifty-feet tall, and they towered into the sky like a tuning-fork with two shorter inside prongs. The two on prongs on the inside were much shorter, and they were rounded and slightly widened on top. From the other side of the wall, a single soul of one of the red birds slowly began to rise and stopped between the two middle rounded prongs hovering there waiting for Judegment.

I was to judge this sea of red birds, starting with
this first single red bird soul. Then I woke up.
I hope this story helps you
in some way!
See you on the other side ;)
